Tweezers Are A Girl’s Best Friend

Yes, I am getting older… hell we are all getting older, but my age shows in strange and unique ways.

One of these ways is a “wild hair” that grows on my chin. It is a constant source of frustration for my No, as she is kind of a perfectionist about such things, and in her world this is simply an abomination.

Picture me sitting at the computer typing away as she sidles up behind. I look up at her and gaze into her eyes only to see that she is staring disconcertedly at “that area” on my chin. Something tumbles out of my mouth, but she cannot concentrate on conversation, it is obvious that something else has hold of her… by the look in her eye I can tell that it must be my wild hair.

She turns on one heel and heads off to find the tweezers, coming back with a determined look on her face including the knitted brow I have come to realize means that she is not satisfied with something.

Without a word she quickly and efficiently eliminates the object of her distraction, after which she holds it out in front of my eyes for me to get an idea how big it was this time. After all of that the conversation starts back up right where it left off…

I have a little colony of these guys on my chin! All coming from the same little spot on the left side. No idea how many, since I never let them stick around for long. I shudder to think of what I'd look like after a couple weeks without tweezers...

LOL - oh...this is an almost daily battle with me. I have tweezers and high power mirrors every where!

It's fun gettin' older ain't it!?
